We believe a privacy policy should be readable. Here’s exactly what we collect, why, and the control you have, in plain language.

Information we collect

We collect the least we can while still making the app work. That falls into a few simple buckets:

Meal data you create: the meals you log and the protein values you confirm.
App preferences: basic settings such as your protein goal and onboarding preferences are stored on your device to personalize your experience.
Device information: basic technical details needed to deliver and troubleshoot the app.

We do not sell your data, and we never will.

The AI meal scan uses your camera to recognize food and estimate protein. You’re always in control of when the camera is on.

Meal photos are processed only to estimate protein content. They are never sold, publicly shared, or used to personally identify you.

When you choose to analyze a meal, the image is securely transmitted to our AI service provider for the sole purpose of estimating protein content.

Images are processed only to generate a protein estimate and are not used to build advertising profiles or sold to third parties.

Subscriptions are handled by the App Store. Payments are processed by Apple. We never see or store your card details.

We receive confirmation of your subscription status so we can unlock the right features. That’s the extent of the billing information we hold.

We currently do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers inside Protein Tracker AI.

Your protein history and preferences are stored securely on your device.

If you delete the app, locally stored information may also be removed unless backed up by your device’s normal iCloud backup process.
